    JWBodean:

The people quitting are NOT first timers!  They are Masters on down!  I started 3 games tonight with all Masters & Tour Pros and never got to finish a single one!  The first 2 games froze when they left... the 3rd & last game (both Masters), left on the second hole!  Don't tell me they didn't know how to navigate through a game!!!

They start out badly and just leave!  What? No birdie yet?  Gone!!!  It's BS!!!

    Thank you.

I've had a couple Tour Masters quit as well. What I was responding to was the comment that dealing with quitting would result in people leaving. That would not happen. But if it were an issue for new comers, heck, let them work it out. But once someone has moved up the ranks, they should know better than messing up other people's games.

    But I agree with you.

Some of these guys who are posting in favor of quitting or calling it 'freedom' are looking at it from a "me first" attitutude. Forget the other players. I want to quit, it is my right, so there. Eat it! Unfortunate.

And they comment about my being too upset with this issue. Well, just like you, I might play 2 or more games in a day where not one ends with all starting players. And often, the game gets hung up as well. That would frustrate anyone who actually starts a game with the intention of playing the whole game!

But statistically speaking, I find that if I play Tour Masters and Legends that I have a slightely better chance of getting to finish the whole game...start to finish. I say "slightly better", not perfect.

If I had been quitting games because of a few unwelcome boogies, I'd been a Legend long ago. I like knowing that at least my ranking and average is based on playing, not score padding.

An excellent repost rixertrader and one that I agree with 100% and I'm sure I am not the only one.

I suggested a new feature, a stat that tracks the disconnects per 50 or 100 rounds. So not talking about quitting but "disconnects". This stat would let you know what happens with this player before you tee off. If the number is high maybe he/she has bad internet connections or local power problems or just whatever. Then you can decide if you want to take a chance and play with them.

Today started putting any player that quits a game on the "Block Player Option". If everyone does this they will not be able to play us again!!!

Sounds like a good plan I'll start doing that also

I looked for this "Block Player Option". Is this wishful thinking or is there really such an option?

If so, I want it. I've got a list of hookies to block.

Just access your account page. It's there.

Not all the quiters do it because they want to. Sometimes my router resets and I lose connection... consider that too.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it does not mention anything about not matching you up with the blocked person when looking to play multiplayer. It just says they can't be your friend, or send invitations, or post on your wall.

They need to add that the player will simply not exist as far as we are concerned.
