  Mocha... I will have ask my Father about that one..I have no clue. I think I was about 14 or 15 at the time, and it was just a real pretty place...LOL. I can tell you this, my Dad was hot as hades to get snubbed at Oahu C.C....HOT!

  An excellent PDF from Golf Digest on not only the TOP 100 in AMERICA but also the WORLD.  Additionally, they list top courses by global region and state.  Very helpful when planning a trip!

  Dang, you played a lot of famous tracks.  I have been to Whistling Straights twice and let me say it's a monster.  I was playing the 7th hole from the blakcs at 221.  The pin was placed on a ledge almost in the water.  My caddie said don't attack the pin, i didn't listen and ened up with a double-bogey 5.  I shot 89 last year and 86 this year.  I'm a 4 handicap so that's how much the wind is in effect.

  Good post Double.  The $$'s are always a little misleading in most of those courses.

  For example, the Ocean course can be played for $50 including cart in the summer and the TPC in Sawgrass can be played for under $100 as wel..
