If there is no system  ( formula ) what ever you want to call it for putting, then what is the purpose of the grid?

    hi

grid shows you the break and the speed of the break. it allows you to estimate both. it also shows slope and the way it goes + speed of it.

    I know, right?

No wonder I've been missing all of my putts by 15 feet. This is going to force a fundamental rethinking of how I play this game!

the grid is there so that the little ball bearings have something to move over.

A hole is to put the golf ball in.

well what happens when you get a left handed stance..as one of my saves show, the hands are for left hand ,the putter is for right hand putting away from the hole...this has happened a couple of times to me..

No "LOL" or  "j/k"  ??  Maybe  /sarcasm off?

LMAO-I wanna know you didn't know this, especially with an old man that plays here and rakes.  You'll never hear the end of it.  :-D

The balls moving shows the break, the speed of the balls moving shows the speed of the break, the number and the arrow above the flag tells you the elevation,

A grid is used to measure something. So what is the size of the squares 2x2, 3x3, ?
