It's not stupid to question changes that occur without warning, that changes our distance calculations on shots.  My clubs had 18 increments, now they have 12.  This really messes up the distance calculations for each shot.  If the clubs and balls were free, that would be a different story. If nothing has changed for you, then you're not paying much attention.

Total pile of condensed Owl Crap. I am on a roll tonight on all the forums for the total BS that has been created by pure greed and stupidity on behalf of WGT.

Obviously Putter Pal sales ain't been going too well I guess but if WGT thinks this will underhandedly increase sales I'm thinking it's a FAIL.

WGTicon: You are correct.  However, many players do use the avatar movements and for them to be changed without any notification was and is upsetting to many players.

As for the avatar movements causing slow loading?  I really do not believe that horse pucky.  I believe that in order for new clubs to be made available, older clubs had to be made inferior to the new ones.  I mean how much more precision can be obtained with a 1/2 of a dot.

So, I believe WGT thought something had to be done to be able to make better clubs available in the future.  I think adding an extra row of dots for distance and spin would have done the same thing without monkeying with the avatar graphics.

You know, a survey or two, in the survey section might just open some eyes at WGT as to what players want and how they perceive WGT as a game and as a business.  By adding it to a survey, it would be more valuable than all the bitching and moaning in the forum.  Plus, players would get some free credits to spend in the pro shop.

As I have stated, i really enjoy this game.  I realize it is a beta version (how long is a beta a beta?) and will change dynamically with new technology and programming.  I can even live with my clubs "wearing out" and needing to purchase new and better clubs.  Similar to real life but it happens much faster here.  What I am requesting is for notifications to be made when a change as significant as what was just made last night are going to happen.  It's not just common courtesy, it is good customer service.

At a time when companies really dont give a crap about thier customers, it presents the opportunity for a company to stand out and excell.  Customers remember bad experiences much more that good ones.  The best day for a CS rep is no phone calls.  All customers are happy and satisfied.

Of course this is just my humble and honest opinion.

    Drive them straight.
