hi
in the long run=many tournaments played. this time you have 30 head on sta #9 and next time others have it and you have some helping tail.
setting same winds for every hole is simply unrealistic and will be used, when friends share winds and tailor clubs for it (ie adding 4th wedge and dropping driver).

You see, are you going to call icon a CHEAT as well for mentioning it?????
I really can't see this arguement, it sounds to me like one of those that is trotted out as gospel and few really think about it or post against it.
Where are these 'friends' who having payed their entrance fee for a ready go, then feel they should give the wind conditions to someone who (presumably with this knowledge) will go onto the course and beat their score, thus lowering any potential winnings?
I know we like to think we have a great community, and we do generally, but if any of these altruistic golfers want to give me any insider information let me know, you can be my friend (joking)
IMO random winds don't even out - low, moderate or heavy
Question - do you get favourable winds 50% of the time on St Andys 9 & 10? and I don't mean crosswinds, how many times do you get headwinds or tailwinds, if you take out the crosswinds I bet you get more headwinds than tailwinds, if I'm right then holes not only have random winds built in, but also another variable regarding direction
