hp, you have hit upon one of the reasons why I thought a yardage book could help. If we had a well marked plat or map of each hole, with distances and breaks and such, we could print it out and then record our shots on it, trying to see what patterns and subsequent scores arise. It would be an easy way to track the best way to play each hole, based on round-by-round experience.
I suppose an alternate would be to print out the little WGT maps of each hole and use them, but that seems like a lot of work, too.
I also note that on the Strackaline website there is a pretty amazing video showing how their mapping of the breaks and speeds on greens works IRL.
Anyway, thanks for the comments.
