Prime example. RG 24091 SA bck 9 500cr, 49 players posted scores,2 hrs left on a 12 hour timelimit. That means 49 players have been waiting 10 hours already to play that same RG.If it were 6 hours WGT would already be making money from a 2nd RG.

I used to think people forgot, or got busy a lot, but I think what happens is some don't like the "WD" next to their name, so just close out and go to bed.

Be nice if WGT would put up a "NP" like in a CC tourney, and see if there is a pattern.

    borntobesting:

The shorter the time limit the greater the chance that you will have to deal with the top players.......

In theory,  if RG's stay at a 12 hour timescale then you'd have more chance competing against the better players because there would be less competitions to compete in. If RG's were a 6 hour turnaround, that would in theory mean twice as many RG's per day, therefore less chance of playing against the same top players....due to double the turnover.

Having said that...there are other contributing factors to take into consideration including course rotation and conditions because not all players like to play RG's in certain condition and I don't really think it would matter what the timescale is....you'll still come up against top players regardless because they play all the time.

I'm with the majority of folks here....6 hours max would work best in my opinion.

I just clicked on cabo ready go 24659 and the remaining time was on 12hours 50mins. I can only assume that there is a 13 hour time limit for this 1. Is this a bug?

Actually i've clicked on a few more and they all seem to be 13hours. This is on the tournament page and not on the game client. On there it is 12hours

    here is my 2 cents:

have all of the people who did not play get a DNP next to their names. then have them have to sit out the next 2 ready go's of that instance and make their entry fee for their next ready go that they play 200credits instead of 100. Make it so that people are discouraged from DNPs so that th ready gos end faster. I remember a couple of months ago the payouts would happen with 10 hours left on the timer-even with cabo. Now there are more ready go's so people aren't worried about DNPs
