Why did this not drop in hole?  Any one stuck clingfilm (plastic wrap) over the holes?

I get 2 or 3 of those a day. I gave up asking why. Maybe you should too? It could change your luck.

This is why it's happening to you: If you post in the forums with things of this nature WGT tightens your players parameters so you get more and more of this happening to you. No. Really. Trust Me.

I would make a physical note of the course and the front or back holes of the said 18 you play and then add the swing speed distance for which these no drops are occurring.  As in the game of real gold=f the ball needs time to drop in the very small hole of 4.75 inches as like 7/10 of an inch.

This applies here to WGT....see if your luck changes when your ball speed is less and the ball travels no more than a foot past on your practicing for better control....Good luck.

    I concur.

I posted in the forums that I loved how my putts wouldn't drop and full shots sometimes went dead right or left, etc., etc.  I let WGT know I liked that.  So they adjusted my parameters and now I hit everything exactly as planned and almost all my putts drop.

LMAO. I like DarSum's theory. At the risk of sounding logical though, you hit it too hard. You should know that by now. The front view shows the putt clearly high on the cup and the reverse view shows a barely perceptible move in the ball trail as it almost lips out. Because it was going too fast it rolled by. Look at how far it rolled past the hole. Dead center that might drop but not on the line you hit it.

The graphic tolerances also play. I don't know what it is on putts but somewhere a long time ago Nivlac suggested it was +/- 1/2" of actual. You see this in the fairways at BPB where you're actually in the rough but are staring at your ball on the short stuff.  Game limitation.

That makes sence.  I watched the rough splash when it was hit by my opponent by the water. He landed about a foot in the rough. witch some might gripe but you already screwed up when you got that close anyways!

OK, look at the replay from camera 1. The vapor trail was accurate, but when you look from behind, It only LOOKS like it is over the hole because the vapor trail is 2D and does not lay flat on the ground unless you are directly over the ball. Therefore, you get the illusion that the ball went over the hole when it misses on the near side of the hole from the perspective of the camera that you are looking from. Since it automatically  switches to behind the hole half way through the putt, you see from behind the hole which is the side you missed on. It may have had a chance with less speed, but the point is, you hit a poor putt. If you look at any putt that misses narrowly from every angle possible, you will see that the ball missed fair and square 99 out of 100 times. Every now and then you will get one that should have gone in, as far as you can tell from EVERY angle. If the BASE of the vapor trail is clearly over the hole and the putt is not carrying any kind of speed that COULD make it lip out, send in the bug and then it's worth discussing on the forums. Stop hallucinating that you are unlucky, and start worrying about the middle of the hole! After you look and realize what I have said, you will see that "luck" does not exist in this game for putting, because it is based on math and physics. What do you want from WGT?? a bigger hole??? If that happens, the top players' scores will improve more than yours will and then all of the normal WGTers will just start complaining about lip outs again, except saying "the hole it bigger!!! Why is it still lipping out???", just leading to more posts like mine! If you want to enjoy this game, just stop worrying about it!
