i aim just right of the hole on the 11th at Congressional, you know the one guys, with the WATER on the right. The wind is 9mph right to left, i ding the shot and the ball goes straight RIGHT into the lake, obvious ball stealing from a pack of thieves, well done wgt, your influences on shots these days have gone to far, stop using your pathetic VEM on players shots, let us play in peace.

Why didn't you play safe like most people would? :-)

Edit: My original comment was tongue-in-cheek.

Play safe? That par 4 with that wind is a definite safe try for birdie. Unless he aimed there, which I doubt, there's no way a dinged shot should go against that wind into that water. He has a case to rant about.

WGT stealing anything is a bit of a reach though.

    What Jim said!

Maybe not stealing but IMO there is a definite exaggerated attraction between the balls and water to the right of:

    CCC #4

    CCC #6

Harbor Town 4th hole in the CTTH

A couple of holes on Wolf Creek CTTH

    Kiawah #17

Sometimes no reason is needed for the ball to end up in the water.  But with a L to R wind of any speed, give it ANY slight miss late, even a hair late, and good bye Callaway!

    Negative much SgtDoodles?

    Agreed YJ and Andyson.

What we need is an option for those holes to swap to starter balls...

Piztaker, are you a hack with no idea ??  i knew very well if i clicked it late the ball was wet but with a ding i'd be all over the pin, stick to safe play if you like but i'm trying to birdie every hole. Doodles, go and play with Piz, you're both in the same league. Guys this was an obvious sting from WGT to make me lose a ball, i've been playing long enough now to know where to aim on that hole.

With that wind it's definitely a birdie chance. I wouldn't have played safe either. I don't play for pars unless it's the right situation in an alt shot game where course management works best....or i'm -7 or 8 going onto the 9th tee and the current leader is in the clubhouse at -6....in a CC Tourney for example....but even then, depending on the conditions..I'll be going for a birdie.

I can vouch Tanneralis is a decent player....if he says he's dinged it then you can take it to the bank....and if the ball's went on a journey with the wind having no effect at all then it ain't right is it?

    Just Sayin'

Is there anybody who has played this game for awhile that has dinged a shot and had it go somewhere other than where you aimed it..??? It's happened to me more than once. Water seems to attract your Cally's more than it should.
