well we finally get some new clubs, but I'm sorry wgt but the price 2995 credits is ridiculous for level 90 set, and yet again anyone above level 90 can use them, so legends playing TM,s or masters are still  along way behind them in mp games.

Yeah and the hybrid goes the same distance as the 3 iron, now I know alot of people will drop the hybrid for an extra wedge but still it seems pretty dumb to have two clubs go the same distance in a set.

I have got them and in my first blitz they hit the ball like a laser guided missile and that was me missing the ding!!!

I think this is going to be an error on the part of WGT, they appear to be too good and anyone with them will have an advantage and the scores will get even more crazy.

Is the loft the same as the Burners? Do they land as softly on the green?

They appear to Jim, bit early to say and I'm not the technician of the game that you are. It's more the forgiveness that concerns me, they seem a bit too forgiving to me but I will report back as I play more holes...

I'm surprised they don't have a slightly slower meter. I was expecting new 'top spec' irons to have the same meter as the Cleveland wedges and R11 Driver/3wood/hybrid.

Anyone got them? Any good? I bought the TM Burner 2.0's yesterday and am weeks away from that level so I'm not thinking of changing any time soon, but would be nice to know how they compare to the Burners.

    Cheers

I'm with you Chris, scores on this game could go even lower than they have been recently. I'm fine with WGT introducing new equipment, but all of the new high level equipment is just primed for those players out there using auto clickers to ding every time.

The R11's are EXACTLY the same as the burners when they first came out, very accurate, but its obvious wgt has tampered with the burners accuracy to make the R11's stand out and for us to all rush out and buy a set.  Missing the ding opposite to wind with the old burners when they came out would give you an excellent shot, but the last few weeks missing ding would send ball any where, but what do you know, the R11's are excellent, but i see no difference with them than burners (apart from a big early press i just did on congress 10, but ball still landed 4 yards from pin.) but saying all this, the burners USED to be like this, so basically we've spent $30 for clubs which were exactly the same as how our OLD clubs USED to be...LOL

last few days i couldn't get more than -8 for a round at congressional ready go, with new irons, i'm -7 already at #10, but believe me they are exactly the same as my old burners were before, but hopefully the half notch extra forgiveness will make a difference if you miss ding slightly in wind direction

I don't quite agree with the 'tampering' of the burner 2.0's. I didn't notice my burners playing any different to how they always played.

I'm also liking the 120 yard PW distance, gives me less of a gap to my 105 yard Ping wedge, don't think I'll need to get any of the Cleveland wedges now.

The concern is that WGT is continually milking it's existing customers for revenue, recyling the same products with that promise of just a small amount of extra benefit. I said the same thing when the Burners were released and this further release only goes to prove my concerns were just. I think WGT are on the wrong path adopting this strategy, short term view that could ruin the game in the longer term.
