I have rented the R11 irons and to be honest I love them.
I currently play with the TM2's and I will definately not be selling them.
They will be my back up for a rainy day as I like these irons a lot.
In all probability I will eventually purchase the R11's as I find their precision a bit better than the TM2's.
The ball flight trajectory is high and most medium to long irons land on the green
and stay put.
The distances are laid out differently to the TM2's but it does not take long to get used to them. In fact I actually prefer the distance for each individual iron.
As far as the meter speed goes I don't notice a great deal of difference between the two sets of irons. I would possibly concede the R11's are slightly faster but you can soon adjust and it is not that significant to put me off.
I just accept my irons will be slightly faster than my R11 woods and to be honest to a certain extent it depends on what ball you team them up with.
Again horses for courses.
Finally a lot of folks are complaining about WGT making money. Well sure they are.
Good luck to them. They are running a business and as far as I am concerned we are not being forced into buying the new equipment.
My opinion is I love this game and don't mind spending a bit of money to keep WGT in business as the game gives me many hours of pleasure in return, and I am sure others out there feel the same way.
Afterall if you participate in the real game of golf you have to pay handsomely for club membership fees and equipment.
So keep up the good work WGT and bring on more new equipment and spice the game up some more.
