Very interesting read about a game that is free and played the same by all, in all kinds of different abilities handicaps and personal differences. Don't complicate a simple game some will spend more, and those retired may spend sparingly. Don't like how it is run JUST DONT PLAY!! Play ranked rounds I have over 14,000 ranked rounds 250,000 putts and have never won a tourney in rookie and once never qualified. Don't like a song turn off or play something else. My leader on my tourney is a TM at 16 under..lol . My 2 cents.

This thread was started by an Amateur account complaining about TM and up playing in "low level games".  These are nothing of the sort they're cheaper coin rooms where you win or lose less credits. Similar with the Showdown although complicated by the titles they are given. Why should a high tier player who wont win pay more  to play than a low tier one?

The Amateur account is no longer searchable nor is the one he also created on the 24th of this month. The oldest I've seen with the same name (main part) and him as a friend (coincidence I'm sure) is a L85 Master that joined 10 years ago, lol which may explain why it was TM and above.

So we had a multi complaining that honest players were playing in tiers that they're perfectly entitled to. That's the thing with high level players, they are playing off the tees they should be.  The low level ones are often starting out again, from the front tees, it seems.

Why play in Chelsea?  It's the easiest of the one hole rooms to get a quick game in, I often play my sponsored games there.  I'm trying to catch up on apparel with mobile players and getting there I think.  If WGT gave us 7 games, however long it took you, each sponsored session I'd probably play these in Rio. I wouldn't think there's much difference in my win % in the two, stronger players in Rio being balanced by all being off the same tees.

You get less points for playing chelsea than you would in Rio or Tokyo.

Gold and platinum box drops are very rare. I don't even remember if i ever got either in chelsea. (but it's been years so i could have)

Rio Drop rate on Gold and platinums is much less common than in Tokyo.

The higher the room the more points per box. The better the drop rate on gold and platinum boxes.

plus you're picking on lowbies when you don't need to do so.

Now if you can't compete in Tokyo then obviously don't play it.

all the above reasons are some examples of why i say coin rooms sort out skill. the more skilled people  play the higher rooms because the payoff is better.

even if some high level is starting out in coin rooms;  if they can't get to Rio in a week. (two max) then they aren't very good.

If a high level is playing a lower room it's for only a few reasons. 1) It's a showdown and they have to. 2) they suck at the game 3) They have a self esteem  bully problem so they pick on the lowbies 4) They are just starting out in coin rooms.

if i a high level with some skill knew what they were doing they could probably have at least  4-5  million coins in a week. (Monaco)

You are slipping Dodgy. You forgot to drop the e, at the end, and find yet another account. LOL

It has gotten so ridiculous, I stopped caring about mutlis. I just can't help but laugh when I see them. Some are quite brilliant in making it hard to flush out - NOT....lmao

Can I suggest that some of you take your tin foil hats off and look at my profile for an explanation.

Look at the last two friends that I've made and note the country flag explanation in the status area.

    Thank you :-)

Got it, thanks for clearing that up.

However, I think I will keep my tinfoil hat on for a bit since there are still three other profiles, which, btw, have the correct flag depiction, assuming USA was incorrect.

In any event, I really could care less, or could not care more (depending on which you prefer). I was merely teasing Dodgy in my previous reply.

Can I suggest you look at my post on the previous page, 04-24 1.37pm, the last paragraph.  I'm guessing he didn't take my advice although other accounts may have been taken into account.

Lol, I must have one you don't then :-)

I don't really care either, it was just him moaning about what others do, and the way he seemed to have so much experience of it, that made me look.
