  So, I've just had the client update and figured I'd check if one of the fixes that has frustrated me for ages has actually been done.

  WGTNico:

  Quality of Life

   

  • Fixed an issue when buying sponsor apparel from the proshop where it would should 1/15 for level-up progress on each apparel item regardless of the player’s inventory
  • Removed the Online Visibility toggle from invitations because it wasn’t functioning (players can change their online visibility in their game settings)
  • Fixed an issue with PC chat where the chat hitbox was too small
  • Fixed an issue causing the notification dot to appear on a player’s inbox even when there was nothing in their inbox.

  So...

  Not really a big deal....I think. On my profile it says i'm off line but in my settings it says i'm on line. Could this be a reason why I am having difficulty finding a Alt game  when I search for one. Cheers

  Have you updated your game yet or been given the option to? Client update isn't out on all platforms yet which is likely when that one will reflect the change in game

  I play on a PC, and as I said, I've just had the update.  My version number is now showing 1.83.0.250621_D.  And my friends list now looks different, so I've definitely had the update.

  I've noticed that the inbox only seems to get the red dot when you first open up the WGT client, so it is a VERY SLGHT improvement.  Once you've looked at it once (and found nothing!), there's no dot after that... until you get a message hopefully!  If you close the client and restart it up again the red dot shows up once more on inbox, even though there is still nothing there.

  just quit the game. same folks always complaining. if the game is so bad for you....quit! take up tic tac toe or something. dont understand why some of you continue to play when all you do is complain. if you think im talking about you, youre probably right. id imagine Nico and every other wgt mod hates some of you folks.

  Friends UI - This is an early version of what we are doing. The big pieces is that the UI is slightly different and players can now see if their friends are online, busy, and offline easily.

  NIco, IMO this is the biggest fix or addition to the game since we left Flash. Although our Friends list has changed, being able to tell who is actually ready to be invited to a game is the best thing that's been done. With one minor detail, that the friends name is difficult to see for some of us older players. White on the aqua could be a darker color, IMO. Outside of that great improvement to the game. Thanks to everyone involved

  Hi Nico ,

  I play using phone and have done the update.   I have won 2 brackets this month but they are not showing still in the best of 16 achievements.   Im not complaining i just thought I would mention it as it was meant to b one of the fixes.  Thank you for all the work you and all other top peeps do I appreciate it.   We just need to remember you's can't b everywhere at once.  TY.
