  I don't actually run this - the man that does is named Slor ... I only jumped in and helped cuz he is away on business. On page 1 of this thread he has some instructions but I think most of us just watch the club area and community organized tournaments area of this main forum and then register to join.  =)  Glad to see your club coming out for tournaments and hope to see you in them lots =)

  hi boots dont know what to do here i got a message from bubbawhatsup007 who played his match earlier what do you think?

  john i just finished my round 4 match play with an alternate and this is what happened. i set the game up like we practiced. after the third hole he quit then he sent an invite with different tee locations and different shot timer we played he won by one hole. does this count? and what should i do in the future should this happen again

  I've reversed the score tell your player congrats at his win and for the record if the settings are ever different then as required its an automatic forfeit.

   Hi Boots, I totally disagree with this decision, every story has two sides, I'm reaching out to my player to see what happened.  The bottom line is games disconnect all the time here on wgt, my match was disconnected and we went back to the hole and picked up from the score we left off.  Everyone can see the settings before the game is played, so I'm not sure why bubba would play 9 holes with these settings and not mention anything to my player then complain after he lost the match, in any event they still played in the same conditions.  The only fair thing here is to have the match replayed.  Again every story has two sides and to make a decision based on what I read doesn't make sense or seem fair to me.

  Hi IronKing, just going to throw my 2 cents in here, as I read it they played 3 holes of a set up they had practiced, then one of them stopped the game and resent the invite with different settings and they played the 9 with a 1up result, but what we don't know is if the set up for the restart was with the correct settings and they had played the first 3 holes at incorrect settings, if that's the case then the restart result should stand and any holes previously played at incorrect settings would have to be tossed out.

  So the real question is which were played at the correct settings?

  Yes Round  5, 6 move your people how ya want no one will be seeing the lineups except me so you can post any time =)  Just make sure if you are doing both 5 & 6 indicate which is 5 and 6 with the buttons and when round 6 comes I'll move them. If you make a mistake and need to redo it don't worry about leaving a message I'll use the last one you entered =)

  Your player disconnected. Then he sent an invite to restart the game and set it wrong. So let's use your example and say Okay player Bubba says hey man the settings are wrong - Your player timed out then and that's all I had to see. We all know match play is governed by 4 minutes. Had your player got the settings right and won - first there would of been no issue but with him putting in the wrong settings not only did that not fly but he timed out so even if Player Bubba had said you got the settings wrong your player had exhausted time by not knowing the settings.......  so No I didn't have to hear the other side of the story and we clearly dealt with the time out issue several, several pages ago when we had an issue with players disconnecting then leaving their opponents there and coming back anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 days later lol
