Jesus H. This has me totally befuddled. I guess I really do suck at this game. I have been tutored by some of the best, and just recently made TM after almost 1100 ranked rounds. I can't come close to those kind of scores. Guess I don't have the right equipment. I"m just happy, that I still have my sanity, and don't spend my entire life trying to be the best on WGT.  My goodness, what an accomplishment to be the top dog on here. GET A LIFE PEOPLE. It's a damn game. When was the last time you took your wife in your arms and shut off the computer? Can you remember?

It is all good. I don't do this for profit, with what I gift in various formats and entry fees to play events Im not making anything.  I do this for fun and fellowship with friends made on here.

Now that this thread has calmed down a bit, I would like to say some brief words.

First off.....I am a proud team mate of RUNWME on a guild ladder site www.wgtls.co.uk    I have played quite a few rounds with him in a ALT Shot format.  We have won more than we have lost, but we have lost a few.  I do not know what the problem is here....hes a human.......he has bad shots and good shots.  I have witnessed  bad shots from him (more from me, but that is not the point here).  When he was asked to be a part of our GUILD team, he was a TM.  As a TM, we could have been almost unbeatable- team wise.....a nice addition I was thinking.....until he went on a mission to turn Legend.  The fun of having a TM on the team didn't last more than a week if I recall, and BAM just like that....he was Legend.  If you look at his stat page, it will show how and when he turned Legend.  I'm not going back through all the stats....but I know he played the same course in a CC over and over.

For the life of me, I couldn't understand why a "lights out" TM would ever want to turn.....but he wasn't looking to sandbag....wasn't looking to take money from TM's in tourneys......He wanted legend status for that reason--- "STATUS"

Now that he is playing well, earning money, and giving it back to the community......you are questioning his character?????  Are you for real????

RUNWME is a honest person.....has a giving heart.....and a true gentleman....and I am proud to have met someone like him on WGT.  I wish i could say that about a lot of people out here I have met. As for Dianne....his wife.....I have played against her a few times(mostly losing, lol) but she was a lot of fun to chat with and i enjoyed her company very much too.  Its unfortunate that we don't get to see her anymore (Where have you gone Dianne?? )

In summary.....If I had the time and the will power to play this game 8-10 hours a day, I think I could compete at their level.  I just don't have the time to practice and play that much.  Don't knock a guy for being the best he can be at something - and  Don't judge his character until you know him.

    Thanks for your time.  X

Thank you TBE and marc , kind words are appreciated

I couldve stayed a lower tier and shot lights out, but I wanted to get to Legend and play apples to apples with the best players in the game. Im proud to have reached the tier.I suppose there wouldve been less controversy if i stayed master or tourmaster, but it wouldnt have been as rewarding. I was on a mission to get to legend tier and happy to be there.

One example of earnings, I just shot a 63 in best of 2k readygo a few mins ago ( will be posted when 6 more players enter). Cost me 2000 credits to enter, and should win back 800 cr for net 1200 loss yet it still moves me higher in earning credits leaderboard. Those leaderboards are cool to show how much you've won, but the numbers would be substantially lower if it took into account your losses as well.

Very informative your wife is.  Good thing your a good student and listener.  I just read all these posts.  Shame on me.  U've proven yourself worthy of legend tier & u did it within the rights of this GAME, and it upset many other's because your wife isn't their wife, lol, well played, continue to blow the doors down.  I've been master level now for 4 months or longer, struggling, but it's still fun for me, cause I can't putt well enough to make tour master.  WE ARE THE WORLD,  Famous song.  Maybe some time we can youtube that song title and listen to it.  I get lucky every now & then.  Made my 1st double eagle, saved replay.  Check it out. Many of WGT player's are lucky sometime other's are lucky all the time, it's a blessing to have the best of both worlds all the time.  Love & Peace folks.  Life is way to short to actually care this much about a virtual game.  GOOD GAMING!  I

This is a point I've brought up a few times. This list should be in credits not an imagined cash amount. It should also be gross profit.

So - back on page 1 my original post was about the deviation of the wind - I don't think if I had the winds described back there at Kiawah I could have shot 28's in succession like your scores around the 11th,I had 20+ tailwinds on the long 3's with champ greens, 20+ headwinds on the long 5's no eagle chance,20, +tailwind on 4 and not great directions on other holes

Not missing the ding, or missing when I wanted too in a round to get those great scores with the occasional jumpy meter, isn't something I can do consistently either, I guess you've mastered that too

I know what you're saying about b/s or rolling up but some holes you can't get close too consistently if the winds are wrong - or maybe you can -  it looks like you've found a way to beat the game  -  you've become the phil taylor of golf, the rest of us just need to wait for you to retire now
