    Maybe it's a good thing that you're WGT's self styled charity organisation...who knows  :)

I know its a recurring thread, but I don't think its going to go away, you've brought in big money RG's now make it the same even playing field for all entrants

Totally agree there. Same even playing feel sounds right.

The way it is just now...if I entered I would not be risking $20 against playing against other decent players.....all I'd be doing was gambling $20 against whether I'd get decent heavy winds & shoot a sub 60 or trecherous heavy winds & be lucky to shoot a 65.

    RUNWME:

Agree with you 100% about the high winds.  When you get a bad windset, there is nothing you can do but do your best.  I've shot a 28 in kaiwah heavy winds when they were good and helping, when putts were rolling in and a 36 when a tough windset.

Exactly - two opinions from very good players - it does not matter if you like playing in high winds or not - the point is that it is not a level playing field - where you finish in the money does depend on the windset you get, and that can't be right

I think it's unfair to single out 1 player in particular when everyone seems to be shooting better scores these days. I remember when i first started playing ready go's at the beginning of the year and if i shot 30 then i knew i'd done pretty well and had a great chance of being in the top 5 and a decent credit return. But the bar has been raised by many players so everyone has had to get better to be able to compete at the top level. Nowadays if you don't shoot 27 then you're not gonna win. It's as simple as that and the rounds of 30 don't even get you near the top 10. Yes the release of better equipment has made scoring low a lot easier and as more new stuff comes out then it's gonna get even lower. We've all gotta except that it's gonna get tougher and do something about it by improving our own games in order to compete or just be comfortable in the fact that we can't all be the best.

    Todays run in highrollers

    63 in best of 2k  Lost $$

62 in Rsg 1 k Should break even or come out ahead

29 in bethpage 500  Lost $$ ( takes 26 to win , 28 or better to earn $$, 14 tied with 28 in one that just closed out)

30o r31  at Kaiwah 500  ( should win some, crossing fingers on it anyway )

29 Oak 500 ( should get 10.00 back on 5 entry)   That started out great with an eagle on #1 and silver holed approach award but fizzled on 9

Net should break even after entry fees but will still add 50.00 to my monthly earnings.  Had I made 2 more putts in every event would've won almost 200.00 and come out way ahead. Thats just the nature of high roller readygos.

    My two cents worth...

And good to luck to him (RUNWME) too I say... so what if he's that good to be able to clean up so often - gives the rest of us something to aim for.

Don't forget he also gives away a lot of equipment, all of which has to be paid for - out of his own pocket.

Thanks for you help in the past RUNWME... much appreciated.

Everyone has supporters or detractors, was Robin Hood a good guy? or a bad guy who got the backing of the public by giving some money away after murdering merchants and the sherrifs men - (who couldn't have all been bad people themselves?)

Its the nature of life, and in this instance there was questions raised about the rise to form of Runwme - nothing wrong with that - and I guess until someone sits behind him while he plays a few rounds of golf there will always be people who question it no matter what explanation is given

I know I could have all the charts, green layouts, dot speeds etc in the world, but I couldn't be bothered to use them, and I also know I won't hit the ding enough to make them that useful - I have good rounds and not so good and some frankly I'm embarrased about, but I've no notes, I hope to hit the ding, and I hope my eye reads the putts ok.  Thats the good round scenario - If I'm off with the ding no chart would help me
