Well, here's my irony - my best ever 18 is a 57....on Oak.  Won that particular RG.  However I would tend to agree that OAK is the wicked witch of the current crop.

    Oldstir:

wow, expected it might be but i shot 59 on OAK without an R11 driver but I can't beat 63 on CONG even with the R11.  Strange.  Indeed I birdied the first 6 holes on OAK.  Wonder if anyone else has?  What's "your best 18s" on CONG?

Best ever on Congressional is a 57. Now Oakmont I mustered a 61 but that is not the norm on that course for me. Lucky if I can muster a 64 on average. I love Congressional but it plays for me like BP which is another course I love to play.

Congressional is my favorite course, I score lower on Kiawah but Congressional is very nice to play.

Oakmont greens are murder and Roayal St. George is second degree murder.

For me it is Oakmont.  I did manage to qualify last year for the US Open on here, think it was with a 58, might be wrong.  I had 54 at RSG and think it was 56 at Congressional.  I don't play Oakmont as much as the others, don't like the course, and with the newer drivers and irons it might play easier now but the fact is I think it is a poor course with some bad holes on it.

I'm with you on Congressional, my favorite course on WGT.  Lots of challenging shots but you can still make birdies on pretty much every hole.  I really like the 6th hole, par 5 risk reward shot and the 18th is just a great hole.

Oakmont because the greens are so unreal. I like the coarse ok but you seem to get punished the most there when you make good shots. I think they made poor hole selections on most of the holes. Don't play it much anymore.

Interesting; and yet most people won't play Alternate at CONG while it seems over 90% try to play Alternate on OAK except the players almost always range from Hack to Legend, so very few Foursomes ever even get started on OAK.  When I didn't have the R11 Driver, zillions of TMs over level 88, would try to prey on me for an easy win but I wouldn't let them.  After earning the R11, I invited over 80 level 88+ TMs to play any course and none would play.

Now most of them just ruin my Player Searches by Accepting and then immediately Declining and they do it over and over and over and over again; as if out of some sort of juvenile revenge I guess? :)  Begs the question that many members are probably only  teenagers under 18?

As I mentioned long ago, I think the Player Search would be greatly improved if they changed it based on Driver strength rather than Tiers?  That way, Everyone would know what Power they were up against.  The current Search system is so flawed; it actually shows your 'Best Match' sometimes is a person that is already busy playing a game! :)  Hilarious.

Depends on the wind and green speeds. RSG in heavy wind is harder than Oakmont and Congressional in heavy wind. Oakmont on championship greens is even harder than that.
