TdotDoba: -7 on the front -2 back
Reminds me of a newsletter we had many years ago in the work's golf society I was a member of; it was called "Yips", and underneath the title it always said "Out in 34, back in 45".
Following my round here on Pinehurst yesterday morning I went to play real golf. My golf hasn't been good of late, due mainly to me joining a new club and not being able to get used to playing off its hard fairways, consequently not being able to take a divot and the club then often bouncing into the ball rather than getting underneath it. But last Sunday I had my first good round, and yesterday was even better, with a similar type of scoring to Paul's but in reverse - out in +8, back in +2.
And sticking to real golf, some years ago (when I was playing off 8 handicap) I was playing a Sunday morning competition. Didn't have a very good start, being +8 after just 7 holes, my handicap gone and seemingly nothing going right. Then one good shot off the next tee and my game changed, playing the last 11 holes in 2 under par for a +6 total.
