WGT USA ROAD TRIP

  This would be a great idea for everyone in the United States and else where to see what it is like to play a round of golf in their favorite state.

  Have a famous course from each state you can play 9 rounds of golf & if that's too many golf courses to create then just use one or two in each area of the country. Like two from the midwest and two from the New England area and so and so on.

  Two of the courses I especially would like to see are the Sawgrass in South Florida and the Arnold Palmer's bay Hill Club. Even The Blue Shark or The Ocean Club in the Bahama's would be nice as well.

  These are just some of my ideas and in general we need more courses that we can play for free while we are learning the game on World Golf Tour. I would like to play stroke play on some of the USGA courses here as well but you can not do that at this time. Over all it is still much to do here and the scenery on some of these courses are amazing while you relax and enjoy a round of golf. I am still grateful to my friend who showed me this sight just a few months ago & enjoy it greatly especially since I can not go out every week end to play golf in reality this site makes up for that.

  I too thought of something similar. WGT can start a new division and call it, USGT. (United States Golf Tour). There's a lot of great Executive golf courses throughout this country that would be a great addition to this game. They would make great CTTH courses nonetheless. The selected golf courses and Country Clubs would be grateful for all the publicity it would bring them, not to mention all the new business it would generate for WGT.

  My initial idea was for WGT to somehow get the copyrights to all or some of the remaining TPC courses throughout the United States and implement them into a new division of WGT, but I suppose EAsports and the PGA has all the TPC courses sewed-up already.

  I think it would be fun to see this happen, and I have a real job working 4pm to midnight for 5 days a week. I only get to see my family during the weekend when the kids in school. This helps a lot with stress from trying to pay all the bills on time, keeping food on the table and clothing on our backs. As frustrating as lowering my average score is at times on here I still press on because this is another hobby for me as well as a stress release since I refuse drink and make matters worse by turning to the bottle everytime I get stressed. I play WGT golf instead.

  Surely it would only be a WGT road trip if you played the WGT courses. That would be a better challenge. Being allowed on them all would be tough for a start.

  I have to agree with you on the TPC at Sawgrass request for a new course.  I would love to see how WGT would handle the Island Green on the 17th hole. 

  If Augusta National could be added to the one above as a new course I could then play all four majors with my friends and try and claim the grand slam or at least the Tiger slam.

  Since I'm from Canada I'd have to say the most famous course in our country is Glen Abbey in Oakville, Ontario because I think it has held the most Canadian Opens on the PGA Tour.

  While I have no idea about how much licensing would cost to get these courses to WGT it would be nice see none-the-less.

  Unless The PGA Tour decided to break its contract with EA Sports we will never see Saw Grass here. EA Sports and the PGA Tour have a contract giving EA Sports exclusive rights to all PGA Tour courses,those being the TPC courses.
