Hi all, with the help of Yiannis we have updated/expanded the disconnections rule to cover a few more situations.
DISCONNECTIONS
If a player disconnects and the game times out before they get back, the game will restart after the last completed hole with the same score. If the game crashes, the two players will try to resume the match as soon as possible again starting with the same score. If, despite all efforts resuming the match is not possible for any reason, the two players will continue their match with the same score the next day at the same hour or a.s.a.p.
Cases:
1. If the disconnection happens while the players are about to drive or one of them has already executed his/her drive, they will restart from the same hole with a pair of new drives.
2. If the disconnection occurs while both are on the fairway or in any case after both have executed their drives, they will restart the same hole with drives.
3. Same rule applies if the disconnection occurs after a player has executed the approach and the ball stands more than 4 feet or more from the cup. In case the approach is going 3 feet or less, the two players will replay the same hole but the player who got disconnected must match up the score of the opponent (in par 4s is birdie/par, in par 5s is eagle/birdie), otherwise he/she will concede the hole. Same rule applies to par 3s holes.
4. Same rule applies in case of a hole out as well. The players will restart the hole and in case the opponent does not hole out as well, he/she will concede the hole.
