    renniw52:

The number one selling song in history, until Whitney Houston redid Dolly's song, was Bing Crosby's White Christmas. Still my number one. Growing up in the NW mountains of Pennsylvania, I always had a white xmas, close to the heart. Now that I live in Georgia, one of my favorites is Christmas in Dixie by Alabama. Next would be all I want for xmas is you, by Vince Vance.

Anyone that knows me, or sees the music I post would see that I like island music (it's all my dad would play growing up) and hip hop (cause I love that beat). HOWEVER, I grew up in a really white, and really country place. renniw52 - you totally got me thinking about a song I LOVE and haven't heard in a long time.

My personal favorite is Pantera's Cowboys From Hell.  This soft melody gets me in the Christmas spirit every time.

LMAO, some of you guys are totally nuts!

Here's a pretty nice version of a Christmas song, and the movie is awesome! I highly recommend "Love Actually". I've seen it a bunch of times, and I've never made it through yet without bawling at some point. If you haven't seen it, check it out. I suppose it's kind of a girlie movie, but it has a superb cast (Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Keira Knightly, Rowan Atkinson) and something for everyone. Just a really nice movie. Anyway,

Here's another super cool thing I found on youtube. Pretty amazing what sound mixers and video people can do. Elvis Presley and Martina McBride singing Blue Christmas. Very cool. Is it just me, or does she have the greatest eyes ever!?!
