I don't know what to say.  I have had enough with WGT and their loading issues and meter issues.

I cant get through a round with out a hiccup.   Its getting ridiculous.  I have played these shots 1000 times!

This RG was insane, average front nine balls going closer to the hole then expected on miss hits none the less, balls going in on clearly poor shots and yardage selection.

Then on back 9 the opposite, i ding shots and they come up short, ding putts and they miss, lip outs on 11,16, 17,18.  Wtf, WTG, wheres the love?     This s**t makes me mad.   What could have been?

    Just saying,

    b0gey

I don't know what to say......-16 for most folks on st andy's in an rg is quite an impressive round, however, on the other hand, i know for you, hitting that perfect round would mean a lot more and of course the prize means a bit too...but the perfect score will mean so much more, so the strange events on the back 9 will have pi$$ed you off no ends....especially when you knew you'd hit the correct putt only to have it lip out..& dinged shots land short.

I love the lucky putting, and the nasty behavior of the back nine, nevertheless, tibbets, nivlac,  ncviz, thunderbird would whack you in a moment..like it or not it is a fact of life,

I know, but i am sick of the same old s**t.  Balls dropping when i know they shouldnt giving me nice front nine, and on the back, dinging shots and the balls not going where i intended.   Its just frustrating.   Sorry for the venting.

    just saying,

I have been playing WGT for quite some time, and after many rounds of determining wind speed, club speed , club selection, etc., have determined that your score is already determined by WGT.   Some perfect shots just don't make sense, so after my credits are used up, I will be leaving WGT.  Enough is enough.

Mostly everyone came down hard on this guy the other day... I myself have in earlier posts predicted that WGT already knows what score they want you too have...  I have felt that someone or something on certain days were controlling my game, VEM?  Anyway, i guess Mr. bögey they'll be telling you now, to go get fitted for your `Tin Foil Hat"... One thing i might add though is, that it's great to be in the company of such a great player like yourself, on this issue.  Keep Hit'em Straight.

Been feeling the same way myself, I have been on numerous occasions less then 2 feet from the hole and the ball would stop short of 2-3 inches of going in. Even checked it out by deliberately hitting it extra hard within 1-2 feet from the cup and noticed it either stopped short a few inches or worse, made a quick right or left and went around the cup just hugging the edge of it. Been trying to par one darn course for ever. Even played around with different putter and ball combinations these past two days. And guess what?, I finally came close on Beth Page course with the EZ Starter putter and a 10 credit ball (the one with one dot spin) the other day. That's when I went from a score of 88.9 to 82.9 average.

I'm currently at 81.9 and level 59, yes that's level 59 no stutter. Hell I should be Tour Master at that level...laugh out loud. I am still enjoying the game and play the game around all of this by just working on my short game all the way  to the pin. Yes it's frustrating this way BUT I get a couple of pars in on my games at least.

lol - is it 'tin foil hat time' or is there something more in this?

I've played 3 rounds recently at St Andrews where I have been -9 and one instance -10 after nine and thinking -4/5 back nine I'll have a good shout in the RG, but I'd really be expecting at least -6 the way I'm playing (or WGT allowing me to play?) and I'd usually average that anyway over the back 9

In all three rounds I didn't get better than -3 on the back 9, rarely troubled the holes with either approaches or putts

At Kiawah I've been -2/3 front nine and then back nine nothing goes wrong and I've had -8 or -9 a few times, my game hasn't suddenly improved so what did?

    Tess,

So why you and not me?  WGT has something against you?   WGT singles players out and slows down their game and messes with their meters?

    Just saying,

    b0gey

would seem wgt do single players out lol.

glad it's not just me :))

Ok, i know you folks here know a hell of a lot more about this game than me, but i just got to say my bit on this. You ever get the feeling that you know what kind of round you are going to have before you play it? This is just me saying here, but it kind of works like this for me, play 1 great round in every 8 games. Then play average joe kinda games until the 8th game comes around again.

And there is always that 1 round where you just cant hit anything right, even though you quit that game and restart it over and over again. Even if you quit that game and start on another game , it just seems to stay with you until you actually finish the round. I dunno, but it seems that way to me???

I know what your trying to say, for example, the fall qualifier, i would get O.K rounds, nothing too special, i would restart a few times, then suddenly i get the HOT round when even when i slice i land within 2 yards of pin, and able to score 55 at congressional.  Its like the shackles of deviation has been taken away and you are able to score well, and shots seem to go where they are intended.

I understand your point bogey, i've been sent a tin foil hat numerous occasions for bringing this up.  Especially in ready go's, scoring in my opinion is rigged, and there's a certain % who are "allowed" to score high, then after this random amount has been taken, then other scores are held back with added deviation. I've had it a few times, the perfect front 9, then like hitting a brick wall on back 9.  I could be scoring between 59 and 62 for a few days in St Andrews Ready go, then all of a sudden i will get a 55 to 57 and win the tournament, then next time struggle to get 62 the day after my win, and get a full on deviation effected round.

Let this game be decided by our skill not by WGT's deviation.
