Ok, i know you folks here know a hell of a lot more about this game than me, but i just got to say my bit on this. You ever get the feeling that you know what kind of round you are going to have before you play it? This is just me saying here, but it kind of works like this for me, play 1 great round in every 8 games. Then play average joe kinda games until the 8th game comes around again.
And there is always that 1 round where you just cant hit anything right, even though you quit that game and restart it over and over again. Even if you quit that game and start on another game , it just seems to stay with you until you actually finish the round. I dunno, but it seems that way to me???
I know what your trying to say, for example, the fall qualifier, i would get O.K rounds, nothing too special, i would restart a few times, then suddenly i get the HOT round when even when i slice i land within 2 yards of pin, and able to score 55 at congressional. Its like the shackles of deviation has been taken away and you are able to score well, and shots seem to go where they are intended.
I understand your point bogey, i've been sent a tin foil hat numerous occasions for bringing this up. Especially in ready go's, scoring in my opinion is rigged, and there's a certain % who are "allowed" to score high, then after this random amount has been taken, then other scores are held back with added deviation. I've had it a few times, the perfect front 9, then like hitting a brick wall on back 9. I could be scoring between 59 and 62 for a few days in St Andrews Ready go, then all of a sudden i will get a 55 to 57 and win the tournament, then next time struggle to get 62 the day after my win, and get a full on deviation effected round.
Let this game be decided by our skill not by WGT's deviation.
