I nominate Bethpage #1 with its ugly chain link fence around the putting green.

I nominate the 7th hole at St. Andrews. If you're a short hitter you're thinking "Hey, where's the fairway?"  And the #12 at RSG, one of the players I had played with before commented "Is this hole supposed to be a golf hole or a motocross track?"

St. A and RSG both look like they were seeded after WWII by a blind landscaper!!

Maybe the wind had something to do with that?

Personally I am always so close to the pin, I see no such view;)

I didn't say anything about grading them.

You guys are just plain spoilt with all your perfectly manicured and slightly artificial looking courses. We're a bit more rough and ready this side of the pond, and prefer the more 'eau naturelle' type.
