just bought the new rossa.....all i can say...lol well i played 5 rounds with it...i started with the redwood used it for a month went to the spyder for slower meter..been useing it for about 4-5months now. just wanted to really see what the rossa was all about...here's my take. at 1st the 15ft meter is really 2 short..tested on flat very fast green...13.5 ft 30ft meter...28-29 on very fast..is all i tested on distance..gi-sd balls big problem on grid break 15 ft meter...because its so short and slow..the break has to be added allmost double to catch the hole... ill keep kicking around in stroke play with it..maybe figure something to do with it. but tournys now...no...and dont see in the near future... like i said if it comes out ive allready tryed it.. for slow meter speed..spyder for now...rossa is close to being trashed...starting to think should have spent my 750 on more balls.. this is just imo..you might have better results with it than i have so far...it is better than the redwood as far as meter and speed i junked the redwood along time ago.. hope this helps.. bubba

I used the Ping Redwood putter since I turned Pro, and averaged 1.75/.76 putts per hole. Since buying the new Taylor Made Rossa (the first day it was available), my average has dropped to 1.72....not a huge difference, but noticeable. The slower meter has helped this old man get the long ones closer, and the short ones in the bucket.

                                                         ~PUTTER FOR SALE~

Get your red hot Redwood putter right here for the low, low.

Slightly used but never abused, get it while it's hot..!!!

I have been using the best putter here at WGT but this new TM is awsome, real forgiving and a SMOOTH slow meter makes it unbeatable.

Thanks for the putter WGT and again very nice work on the RTG's.

Anyone else with non-GI balls feel like this

I'm using the Tour SD and I have noticed the meter is a little slower than the Redwood. It's a pretty good putter for me.I ding all putts as oppoosed to hitting early/late to allow for the break and a little miss hit isn't as bad as a miss hit with the Redwood.

By the way the Tour Sd balls are the best balls no matter what equipment your using because the meter is smoother and more consistent, yes it's a little faster but once you get used to it you can make some great shots.I think they roll better on the greens too.

I'm starting to enjoy my new TM putter as well. I haven't had a significant increase in birdies just yet, but am rolling the ball much better. I am having more rounds where 1 and 2 putts are the rule as opposed to the exception.

I bought the new TM Daytona and it SUCKS... three-putting everything, missing 4-footers, and overshooting 20-footers by 10 feet... I want my money back.

Beninho... why are you so angry?  You are probably in the top 10% on this site.  And your putting average of 1.71 is very good.  Is it that 44 in your last tournament that has you so pissed off?  Well, throw a virtual club!

The putter is good but would be great if it had a 45' meter.

I've got a few rds in with the Daytona  putter  and the thing is smoooooooth.  Been playing the Spider and doing well with it (3rd place in todays 18 hole Kiawah Ready-Go) but just had to tryout  the Daytona.    It's a sweet putter and I'm keeping it in the bag.

The Rossa feels like it has a flexible rubber head, lol. The roll is fair but the breaks must be wide. I'm still adjusting to the increments. I'll try it for another week and see if I can gauge my putts a little better. I've been leaving a lot a of putts 2-3 inches short. That's driving me a little crazy. The meter should start at 5' and go at 10' increments to 60', it would help with the breaks.
