  Or, using "are" for "our"...

  Here's one to try on for size:

  Are team are not quiters, but there team doesn't like to verse us and it seems like your not on are side.

  I tossed in the misuse of the word "verse" as well. That drives me nuts too. The proper word referring to a competitive match up is "versus"  A "verse" is something in a song or poem.

   

  I could go on...

  Its or It's

  As far as text messaging via chat... it just makes it easier and I don't consider that a grammatical fallacy.

  ns, gs, n1, vns, gr8 shot, nt, np, gp, vnp, nr, nd, ul, bs, n up, n out, n save, and of course (my personal favorite) #%#!%^!!.

  I'm sure I missed a few....

  plurals, NOT plural's; tees, not tee's ... This one makes me fear for my children's future

  I couldn't agree more Leon, misuse of apostrophes should be punishable. Like "Quitters (plural) has 2 T's In It" ;). Other common mistakes I find are when numbers are involved (e.g. all the par 3's instead of all the par 3s) and after capital letters (e.g. a pile of CD's instead of a pile of CDs). You get the idea.
