    StrokerLee:

So...obviously some of you just show up at your local golf course and play!!!  So to all of you that think there SHOULDN'T be a practice green...I better not catch you at a real golf course practicing on a putting green...instead I want you to go to the clubhouse...and tell the 'starter' that you want to hit on to a green(because you are just practicing)...then take 10 putts all over the green...from where your previous 9 putts ended...and then finally try to sink your 10th putt!!!   RIDICULOUS...No not this post...but the idea that we don't need a putting green!!!  Man...where y'all from Urainus!!!  And I don't mean the planet !!!

Of course I use the practice green at my local course.   The point is that you already know the frigging green speed at WGT, it does not change.  You are frigging told the speed each and every time.

At a local course you are not given this information and the speeds can change with in hours.

    Cheers,

Why to people continually compare a computer game to real life. I don't play anymore but when I did I don't remember ever hearing 'ding' when I hit the sweet-spot...maybe I never hit it!

many of this tourneys  can be played over and over  just replay them get a feel for the course and go.  i found very few practice greens ever were the same as the real greens on a golf course.  you had different hills and grass lies etc etc.  just play the darn game . a practice green is a waste of time imo.  have you ever had the same putt from any course over and over no each one is different.  and dont give me the avg being effected crap we all know that  the high scores dont even count.  if avg bothers you then you are a quitter.  i have played legends and on the first hole a bad shot in the rough area and quit.  i say to myself i thought i was gonna learn something like how to play out of it . but no disconnect and they have even quit on their turn ruining the whole game for the others.  strikerseasy

When I speak up for the idea of the practice green, chipping green, driving range etc., I just think it would be a painless win/win for WGT and the peeps, when coupled with free try-outs of virtual clubs on the practice facilities. I admit that I myself would not spend any time using the practice facilities. Maybe just if some new clubs came out. Otherwise, I would just tee it up and go.

Obviously you are confusing REAL golf with WGT! What a maroon!

Don't need it .. you can practice all you like on the course playing practice games.   This is a game not a real golf course ... can't compare it with going out to play real golf.    Use your resources on something else .... anything else ... whenever that may be.

once upon a time - i was also asking for a driving range and putting green

now - after all the experience that i gained - after all the advice that i receive - i have to admit - definetly no need for a putting green - and no need for a driving range (but this is still a closer call)

    cheers

Well a putting green...for a 'small' fee (much like you can buy Power Boosts) in time increments...let's say...for 15 minute (but it still counts as hit use on your golf balls) and make the 15 minutes be addible...so that if you wanted you could do 30 minutes!!  And as many of you stated..."it's not real golf...it's only a game"...true enough at that!!  But... it is based off of real golf principles!!!  And if a player here was not trying to improve their game...and if it was truly "just a game"...there would be no need for updating equipment and/or the option of buying better equipment...instead...there would be nothing but starter clubs!!!  There would be no 'power boosts' !!  No levels !! No Tiers!! and No Tournaments!!!  And no you MORON (not moroon)...but to lose one out of those 5 >>YOU...AIN'T BAD AT ALL, MORON !!!!

I don't think so... they'd lose customers b/c anybody who tried it would die of boredom. Seriously, I think it would be a waste of effort that could be better directed elsewhere, because it would get very little use.

Sorry but I have to agree with others, I have been here long enough to tell you a putting green really would not help on here that much, it would be more of a convenience thing rather that an aid.
