Ambient noise and commentary

  Ambient noise - wind, trickling stream, ocean surf, birds, insect fly-by.

  commentary - "great shot!"  "tough shot from the rough here"  "oh no, it's in the water!"  etc

      With the option to turn 'off and on' and individual volume control.

  Who is it that maps the sounds to a particular volume control and doesnt put a disable checkmark next to them?

  I finally turned him off today, I quite liked the idea but his toe curlingly sh1te banter finally drove me over the edge.

  I really can't express how awful the guys patter is. I sincerely hope he didn't think the phrases he used were in any way funny or cool.

  Garden spot, beach time, bucket and spade, a shooj drive, hit that tight.

   No, no ,no,  just get to fu(k you idiot.

  I hate the banter - but I leave it on (volume low) for 1 reason only.

  If I hit a drive and it looks like it is rolling towards the creek / bunker / OOB --- the dude says "nice shot" or "that's in the garden spot" and I know it is going to stop short of danger.

  I get the relief a couple of seconds early   :)

  To me that is a nice feeling that I can watch the ball roll up really long and enjoy it, not worrying if it is a touch too long and in trouble!

  If he says way to grip it and rip it the ball can go anywhere, at 1st it meant a good shot but not anymore, the others may follow...

  hey guys, this is all very interesting, but no one has answered the question yet.  HOW DO YOU TURN HIM OFF!?!?!?  I went to Options/Audio and set CELEBRATIONS SOUNDS to OFF.  But the guy is still talking.  Add to that, i can't even change his VOLUME.  No matter what i set anything under AUDIO to, he still talks and he is LOUD too.  Can't even change his volume.  So..........does anyone know how to turn him off?
