I have read all the posts, and in my humble opinion, the important thing in this game is when you're on the green, there is the difference between good players andspecial players like Bollox, Suncity, kritztjan, genorb, elvinomepego ... etc. .., theydominate the putt and read greens better than the rest of us, no more, forgetmeters slow, fast, r11, g20 and others, the key is in the putt and the green, that ismy opinion, a greeting to all, good bye.

Iremanu, you do highlight a very important part of the game, which is key to greatness indeed, but this part, however important, is far for being the whole. There is also a real skill in making superior approach shots that set up likely birdies.

Gold and everyone else on this thread... I enjoyed reading your opinions which I learned a lot from in preparation for my very own equipment upgrade which I hope will be an informed decision....if not I suppose I will have to squeeze out as much from its clubheads to be able to get a better shot, better round, better score and a more enjoyable game altogether just as I did on my trek to TP with just the starter set and a few SD balls to add the kick at moments when I click dead center....More power to all of you and hope to have some fairway time with your lot in the future.

    FOREly yours,

    Santi
