  Thin skinned?  Not at all.  I never posted political data.  It's just a profile picture.  If people are going to react so crazily to a picture, then they are the ones who have the problem.  Have you seen some of the profile pictures that are posted?  A lot more disagreeable than mine.

  Sure, A picture advocating the website for the re-election of the current President of the United States is not political. You're either incredibly naive or trying to be annoying(if so, you're succeeding).

  Sorry, I'd say AlaCowboy got it right ...

  Instead of starting another useless discussion, next time this happens, take a picture of the offending chat, send it to WGT and they will likely ban your tormentor or give him/her a time out.  Thanks.

  It's a picture.  I'm not advocating or telling people what to do.  It's a free country, right?  So if people have a picture of someone drinking, they are advocating alcohol?  Or smoking?  Or of some other person that anyone might find offensive like Rush Limbaugh or Bill Maher?  I don't have a tormentor.  He was ignorant and a hypocrite.  He should have just played golf and let it go.   Simple as that.  Go look at some of the pictures that are posted on this site.

  Where did I say you shouldn't have that as your picture???  I could not care less what you use.  

  No, WGT is not a "free country".  It's a private business and if they want to ban someones picture, they can and will.  If you see one that offends you, send a note to WGT and they will probably delete it.  Again, if someone swears at you, take a picture and send it to WGT and they will be punished - no drama - case closed.

  I guess were going with incredibly naive...  Let me explain the current political discourse in this country.  40% of the public hates anyone with a "D" after their name, 40% of the public hates anyone with a "R" after their name.  The other 20% that decide elections, don't like either letter much.  So whenever you post or show a picture of a "D" or "R" you should expect a negative reaction from someone.  Unfortunately, that's just the way it is.

  I'm not naive.  Perhaps I try to look at the glass as half full and to see the better side of people.  If you think that is being naive, that's alright.  It's your opinion.  Hate is a strong word and while I understand people are passionate about politics, rational people can still have a civil discourse on any topic.

  I have tried but still cannot work it out.

  Outside, it is so hot that all of my windows have to be winded down, and yet in here, My temperatureclature mechanism is showing 16 degrees of centigrade.

  I can only conclude that Lambert is up to something of his own, in which case I say let the diabolical games begin. I shall stop his stipend, hide his cider and begin preparations for a clash of the laboratories at once.
