  edit: although..  the American Card game of Poker still has a Royal Flush
  So..  Nah..  "Royal" is probably not truly associated with the monarchy after all. 
  If the Yanks can associate it with to Pulling the chain on a Dunny.

  America had to fight for independence-we got ours through illness...

  The Queen just said she was sick of us.

  (I'm not a fan of a countries flag being worn as pants)
