Did someone say something about the force? I must agree with DarSum. I never really took notes to begin with. And now that I have been at this for nearly two years, with all of the courses, (the exception obviously would be Olympic) I go by feel. Well, when it comes to lining up a putt I do. All other shots, once you learn the courses inside and out, you know that wherever you land, you know exactly what club, shot, and how much power to use almost right away. Just takes time and patience and knowledge of the "force".
And to the original poster of this thread, there are no shortcuts to Legend. If you do make it to Legend on ONE course, you'll pack it in soon after. The enjoyment of teeing off on new courses that WGT puts out would not be there as you would only know how to play the one course. And all these courses play a little bit differently. So do yourself a favor. Play ALL of the courses and learn them inside and out. Learn what your clubs can and can't do. Learn to use ALL of the different shots. (Pitch, flop, chip, punch, full) And learn when to use spin. Front and back and everything in between. It's going to take time. Depending on your skill level and how fast or slow you learn depends on how much time. In the end, you'll appreciate the game MUCH MUCH more. Good luck to ya going forward. And may the force be with you!
