When finished, we loose the ability to say some final words etc. Good game, you owe me!...etc. It simply logs you all off after the final putt, and stats section.

It would be nice that when all are looking/going over the stats after that last putt, to have an area right there above it, that can provide the last banter messaging to each other. Thoughts?

45 seconds is not enough time for a courtest comment and still prepare a shot. How about providing an option for an additional 2 or 3 minute playing window. It will, I believe, facilitate conversation.

There are more than just 45 second timers. There is also 60 and 90 second timers if 45 seconds is too short for you don't accept invites that show 45 seconds. People who set up games with a 45 second timer aren't as intended in chat as some players. They just want a quick game. A 2 or 3 mintue window would drive most of us insane. Especially if a player used all 2 or 3 minutes on every shot.

I'd so love the chat window to stay open until you click end round at the end of a game.  It's annoying when you have a putt to win a matchplay round and don't want to appear arrogant or over confident by saying Well played, good game before you hit it.

Especially as you know that doing so will almost guarantee a miss   :  )

Totally agree....and used to be like that didn't it (questioning myself now....old age)

Nothing worse like looking like an arrogant twat as MM said......or rude by sinking it and not saying gg etc........

I detest shaking hands walking down the fairway......

Yes, it did AND you could type through the screen changes, too. This all went away back when WGT was trying to solve meter issues for the masses. One of the things they did was to change the chat functions to the miserable state they're in now. IDK if this really made a difference but I do recall the changes they made at that time did improve the meter function for a lot of players.
