Wow, just got a chance to read through this, I must say, there are many things I didn't think would turn out this way! (in the thread)
First off, I have to say-and again Jake wasn't aware of all my issues, in fact he still isn't-, what he did last night really rocked my boat.
The first time I played with Jake was in an MPC game, all the time him offering me pointers, while credits are on the line. After the game, we became "friends", and he let me know he would offer tips/etc, any time he could.
You all see the videos of BiB, SunCity, some may think they are bragging on their game, but I think the majority know it is to help all the players here.
I know there are just a few *apples* in this post, and I am sure they may on their other account, and possibly I stepped on their toes here in the forums, but man/lady up, send me an invite and we can talk about one on one.
I think what some may not realize, is WGT is a home to many, not just an addictive game, but shoot, in my CC, if a few were to leave, much fun in playing and ribbing would be gone in my life.
I think WGT as a whole is like that as well, often people speak of Tibbets here, and the many things he had done, I am sure there was a void in many players when he left WGT.
If anyone had a chance to read Tiffers post about the "True Legends of WGT", and iff form time to time you had ever checked their wall posts, what you would see is a plethora of "thanks for..."
Whether advice, etc.
I stand by my original thought that some can become great here as a player, and some are great in life.
Thanks again Jake.
