    Hey, thanks for that tip. I had not thought of using topspin to bounce through the rough.

    I'll see what kind of success rate I can get.

    At this point, unless the topsin method works pretty well, I just want to hold the green once, to say that I was able to do it.

    Oh, and thanks to the other poster who suggested laying up around 80 yards from the hole. I usually drive it up the right side as close as possible to the green, and frequently roll it out of the fairway. If there's no chance of staying on the green I think I'll switch to that approach. Less stress :)

    Agreed.

    The best play is to use a 3 wood on the second shot and keep the ball under 50 yards on top of the hill. This way you can use your 64 degree wedge and stick it quite close, if it doesn't go in the hole for the eagle. : )
