Oops!  You know her don't you?  Please don't tell her, or at least tell her I'm no creepy old man if you do. I'm old, but not creepy. Promise.   Just telling the truth as I see it, as always. You'll find me quite opinionated. Call me on it please!                   David             :-)

    You got it, David!

I hope every father takes the opportunity to experience their child's birth firsthand.

I did.  After one was born an old bag of a mid wife said his nappy needs changing.  I said not to worry as my mother will be back in two shakes of a lambs tail, and carried on with my paper........

The old bag said no you will do it.  I explained I had never been near a baby in my life but knew my mother was very good at it.  Anyway ended up with more of it over my arm and his legs, and my mother walked in just as she was admonishing me for incompetence.  My mother took over and all was well...................Never saw the old bag again:)

My reason for avoiding motherhood ... just can't stomach that part of parenthood!

    Maybe I'll adopt someday!

Can't really comment other than to say never done it after my only attempt above.

Did the shopping for em, made bottles etc etc.........If my wife ever went out I made sure either my sister or mother were close.........I was happy for their mother to give up work / be at home mostly  and she was happy doing it.............
