I find this thread interesting, since, nothing of any value has really come from it.

Then you start to wonder.  People with older computers obviously don't have graphic cards that support adobe flash directly.  These computers most likely have built in graphics, or their video cards are older.   The two video cards I know support adobe flash directly are Nvidia, and the AMD catalyst drivers, such as Radeon graphic card.  You would need to do a video search and confirm this for your system.

If the graphics being supported is software driven, not hardware, they will most likely have less hiccups or more, depending on the amount of resources they have available.

Secondly, when it comes to tweaking, and optimizing hardware on a computer, I consider myself an expert in this area.  I have learned, not to discuss such topics, because, the most important aspect of any computer, is the owner.  Myself, I configure my computer for performance.  I do not like a lot of the services running in the background, and have a tendency to disable them, unless I need them.

However, the most important aspect was to get WGT's involvement.

WGTicon, could you please lock this thread.

the only thing at that point which is really determining 'how it runs on your computer' is your connection to the server which is is originating from. How it's being fed to you.

Utter nonsense, the meter will run on our computer without a connection to the internet.

    andyson:

    How's your meter?

And you missed the Dual CPU part of his system.

My meter is smooth as silk on Comodo Dragon with Adblock plus and PrivDog.

I was well aware about the dual part.

Here is the link to CPU benchmark

PassMark - [Dual CPU] Intel Xeon X5260 @ 3.33GHz - Price performance comparison

    PassMark - Intel Xeon X5260 @ 3.33GHz - Price performance comparison

    PassMark - Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30GHz - Price performance comparison

Intel Core i3-3220 vs Xeon X5260

But I would think a smooth meter would be attainable if the computer was optimized and nothing was running in the background.

Go to start button type in msconfig

when box opens click startup tab

uncheck everything that is NOT Intel, Nvidia or you antivirus protection leave those checked.

The whole point was his system is so powerful any optimization should be unnecessary.  So why is it?

Here's the benchmark data for both your and Infinito's systems

    ..................................................................                        Score    Rank

    Your system:  Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30GHz                    4227    343
    His system:    [Dual CPU] Intel Xeon X5260 @ 3.33GHz    4788    112

You both have very nice systems.

    I have a super computer..........i7 3770k 2 x gtx 680 oc sli 8GB  ram 1866 2x256  ssd 256gb +i1TB hdd

I was using the i3 3220 chip as an example because I have built 2 computers for friends who have no problems with this game or the meter with that chip which is comparable with infinito's chip.

In 2007 that dual chip was $1700.00  in 2013 the i3 3220 was $120.00 but better tech, this day and age tech is progressing much much slower than 7 years ago.

The latest thing is 4K resolution which is overkill and as through the roof as a 1080p plasma was at $10,000 when they first came out only 10 fold.

On another note since infinito is using a CPU for a motherboard with a LGA 771 socket He does not have USB 3.0 as well

Intel Core i7-3770 vs Xeon X5260

Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 SLI compare Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 GPU

Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti compare Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 SLI GPU

    PassMark - Intel Core i7-3770K @ 3.50GHz - Price performance comparison

I have benchmarked my computer with unigine valley and heaven on extreme settings and these are my scores:

    Unigine benchmark results

    Unigine benchmark results

I don't know why these links don't work but for valley I average 87 fps and for heaven I average 78 on extreme settings.

How many points do you want me to make??

Do you want me to tell you how to build and optimize a computer???????

I'm try'n to tell a guy he doesn't have a new computer  or what he thought he had............bottom line

    I Knew this would happen!!!!!!

Hold on guys: No need for this.

The only point I was making, is this, the computer has ample horsepower to handle this site in my opinion with no hiccups at all.

The computer is new to me and the specs given are correct.  The benchmarks reported are also correct.
