    BOZskills:
I counted only 20 balls that were 1,000 credits or more.

    ScottHope:
Sorry Sam, it's 20. 9 of those are no longer available.

    Fixed.  Thanks, Boz and Scott.

Hi Rob, may I ask you how you created your histogram?

    Thank you.

No problem. I used IBM's SPSS.

It's a standard, statistical software package. I'm just a lot more comfortable with it than I am with Excel. In Excel, I only know the basics.

So, I copied and pasted the data into SPSS and then created the histogram.

    Cheers Rob, that was quick.

It was just a little different from what Excel came up with for me, so I was wondering what you used.

    Thank you.  : )

But you do have to play an inferior ball, or pay more money for a comparable ball. I have been playing a Callaway Chrome Soft x ball with a distance of 5.4 and 6 meter speed for well under the cost of other balls.  Now the Callaways are gone.

I'm not sure what ball or how long ago that was, but there hasn't been a Callaway ball (or any ball for that matter) with a 6 meter speed for a relatively "cheap" price that I can ever  remember**.  Meter speed is the single most expensive commodity in WGT, clubs or balls.  You can get a Bridgestone or Max ball with with 6 or 7 meter speeds "relatively" cheaper than other balls, but they do come with trade-offs in distance/spin/durability.  There is currently a Bridgestone with a 7 meter speed for only 300 credits, but with it you get a distance of 1, spin of 2, and durability of 1.  With that durability of 1, you'll be buying sleeves so often it doesn't seem that cheap to me.

**Unless they were part of a special WGT promotion
