That would mean  implementing many factors into a buggie game . My Thought is to remove just 1 factor. The end game button. But yes . There diffidently needs to be something done . Anything would be better than nothing at this point .

    cycle1979:

Stop complaining about people quitting everyone.  Options:

    1) Play for credits... if they quit you atleast win some credits for your trouble.

    2) Join a Country Club... I promise you that fellow CC members are much less likely to quit and it will also give you something to talk about when you play.

    3) Play with yourself....  I have a feeling those that are complaining do that alot or.... don't do it enough...

Option #3 is my favourite pastime - between rounds.

What an apt title for a thread btw.

    ;o)

    Ok,

You guys need to back off,

I know I've played many games where I've started, then remembered I had to met a client, or see my boss etc.

    Life Happens.

If you have enough intelligence to manage your time, and a good enough memory you do not have to excuse your inabilities to those others you left on the fairway, because of the inability to remember things, and manage your time well enough.  Now as to playing this game at work or during a period of time in which your boss is paying your wages, commission, etc.  I'm quite sure that person would not appreciate your doing so.  Life does not just happen.  Things do take place that are not planned, and a person must address them to the best of thier abilities, but take a short moment to enter the chat and say perhaps " srry ermgcy must leave!"  a small statement to that effect would, could, do wonders for interpersonal relationships on this golf game site.  My long winded nickle again.

    Ok,

Firstly, I work from home, and do not play while I am working at all(tried it once and it didn't work)

Secondly, the 3 times I left from a game was because my dad had a stroke, and I needed to see him A.S.A.P., and the other two were again personal reasons. Don't know why I put many times, because I've done it once.

Don't go after me until you have enough information to make an intelligent post.

Your orginal post it was said you had to leave games because you forgot to be somewhere or to see someone.  That seems to me to show that you have little reguard for scheduling your leisure game time within the necessary time span that is available to you.  Sorry for your fathers illness, but it could have taken all of 5 or 6 seconds to sign off out of a round, But only if you cared.  You did not indicate anywhere that you had done this.  By your ommitting this information I am left to conclude that you did not.  I think there was enough information for me to make the statements I did without challange, I still think so.  My Nickle yet again.

Have hardly ever had a quitter with an under par score ! These excuses only comes up ! After bogey , DB , TB or worse yet, No chance at recovery . If it's just a game ? Let's start seeing people quit with -4's and better scores ! IMHO ! WGT should remove the quit option and have resume only . Then if that something comes up ! You'll just have to finish that round by yourself. Before moving on to next round. Thus removing all the complaints about quitters !

    My 2 cents

HALALUYA!  Somebody else has seen the light!  And even has proposed the same solution, keep them attached to the game until resolved.  His 2 cents, My Nickle + .07!

I have quit game that I am playing myself, usually because the swing meter went spastic. is there a problem with that? Today I can't even get on to play. so I may loose 101 days of consecutive play.

So you're in No Quitters CC and you still have people quitting on you?  That's too bad....

Doesn't the game contInue if only one person disconnects?I know games sometimes lock when someone disconnects ,but not every time. After all, almost  every endeavor involves some risk anyway.I've only quit 1 gameand Itold the other particapants beforehand via chat that I had to get to beer store before it closed.(I had been playing so long ,I lost track of time.)They had no beef. Some people just like to carry on.

There are many many entries on the forums on how to rectify meter problems.  Thier nickle.

It may be possiable to finish the game, but you still lose a portion of your points, and your ball usage.  My nickle.

In response,  I do not have many members of my country club on my friends list on the game site (on seperate list) as it will interfer with my 99.9% good play on my equipment/ connections.  To enjoy a competative game such as WGT I find it necessary to play rounds that include others.  Hopefully they are of a like mind and will play the game to conclusion.  If not possable then i would think that they would make thier exit from the round as nicely as possable, and to do it in the correct manner so as to not make the continuation of the round impossable.  If it is less than that woe unto them.  I will not allow those who would make my enjoyment of the game to be less satisfying to do so without recompense.  Hope this clears up any questions you may still have.  Free this time.
