    Normal 0

New courses!  Here's my list, a little something for everybody.

Augusta - With the long, thick "Augusta Rough"- that only a mother could love.

Doral Blue Monster - Nothing like an opening Par 5 hole, right? (guaranteed sub-par start)  That's if Moses is your caddy, and he parts the water.  What's with the Ocean!

Firestone - But make sure it includes ALL the trees.  Drives better be "Fairway" accurate or else you're going to need bread crumbs to get out of them there woods. Hansel

Sawgrass -  Simply because "I OWN!!"  Sawgrass.  A windy 17 hole is about the only thing that might shut me up.  Bring it!

All good choices and generic, redundent, boring, tired...except for Augusta...the others are very small potatos.

I personally want Pacific Trails to be a playable course, but I wouldn't complain if Augusta was added ;-)

We can wish and hope and pray and sacrifice virgins all day long and we're still not going to see Augusta here.

There has only been one golf game that was given the pleasure of having Augusta available.. .and that was from Micro$oft... and do you know why?

    Bill Gates is a member.

    Must be nice.

Is that an old Microsoft title or is there a current one with Augusta?

Rehill, did you not play Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes when you were there?!

I agree with SP here, and this is why.

For this game, I think you really need lots of undulating elevation interest. Firestone has many I look like the hole before moments. The elevation deviations are not very pronounced, a little tilt here, slightly up or downhill there. To many straight shots. I think other than some tilted fairways, it would play too easy on this game. Doral Blue Monster. Way to flat, fairways probably too wide. It does have a few nice green-sites. Its also a bit to 'target golf oriented'. That fact alone leads to boredom down the road. Remember, what makes a great course in real life, doesn't always equate to the world of cyber golf.

Why does Bethpage for example play so difficult on WGT? Its the constant elevation change. Beth also has a ton of elevated greens that practically remove the words 'hitting darts' from the vocabulary.

Oakmont will challenge you with elevation and green-sites that rival Augusta.

These are just my opinions, your millage will vary. Let the civil discussions begin.

Augusta for sure. Sawgrass just for the 17th. Awesome if these 2 courses were made available. Maybe a course in Africa, where I'm from, Sun City or Leopard's Creek.
