    Infinito3010:

Has anyone rented or bought the lvl 64 atv wedges, specifically the 54° (110 yrds) and 60° (90 yrd) wedges

I think the thread starter has.

As a side note, the Z Satin 64 degree wedge is possibly the best club ever made on this game, price and performance wise

I don't know, I think the great thing about it is the distances. A 50-yard Cleveland would probably blow it away. The price was certainly right,  though, and how much precision do you really need on a 40 yard shot? Do you really need to stick it to 2 feet, compared to 3? If the ATV is a little better out of the rough on really short shots and has more spin for pitch and punch shots it'll be killer.

The new L38 and L39 TM wedges are exactly the same as Z satin wedges they replaced, except now they are 495 instead of 200.

LOL! I beg to differ, you wouldn't wanna miss the "All-Terain Versatility", would you?

    (typo from the Pro Shop)

And you didn't notice the major length differences!?!

    (Z Satin 64°: 50 / 41 / 13 / 6 / 15 yds (full, punch, pitch, chip, flop)

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic?  Unfortunately, I didn't pick up the Z satin 64 degree before so I can't compare the distances to the new ATV.

I have the 54 and 60 deg Z satin (L38 ,39).  What are the distance breakdowns on the comparable - " identical " ATV's?  I assume they are the same to the Z satin since the Full yardage didn't change.

    I am.

From what I've read here there are minor differences in the nominal distances, similar to the 64° which I posted.

Still there may be hidden improvements, from rough or elsewhere. Alas, a bargain has been eliminated, now there's hardly any reason to buy these until WGT might kill the Pings, too.

I am like a lot of people see something new and can't wait to throw my credits at it ! ...... I will give them time but i reckon my clevlands will be in my bag within the week ! thank you , ... dflop !

I bought the 50,75 & 100 purely to try them out. I actually like the fact they have less spin than the Cleveland wedges. I have always played approaches with less spin than most so these are more suited to that way of playing. Whether or not I stick with them is dependent on how the slower meter speed affects my accuracy on the ding with the R11s. The Cleveland wedges are better aligned to the R11s in meter speed and therefore easier to maintain your timing across all clubs.

I was looking at the meter speed also.  I think these wedges would be better aligned to the G20's.

Guys, if your surfing the forums in search of a purchase answer,.. stop reading right now and make these new clubs yours, then come back and read more to get even more excited about your new wedges! There will be tons of opinions all over the place, but I say to you if these clubs are within your personal budget I would certainly buy them now. I wish I saved a couple replays from this morning, a few hot shots and hole out from 40 50% rough. What better testimonial imo. Some folks will say " they lack a 1/2 ball precision though. And " they have less spin than the Cleve does. They seem (compared to any other club imo) to be the perfect balance wedge I have EVER  played on wgt! And NO, I have not been asked or paid to hop on the forum and write this bit. When something this special grabs my attention, I want to bring it to yours. God Bless everyone.. and keep em str8!!
