+11!
As an exception, you may not use ANY club on a wrong green, Rule 25-3.
Those examples of Phil and Zach show some creativity, and this is one part of the game that I like. See Bubba here in Hawaii - I LOVE that second shot!
I do practice this one fairly often but usually fail to hit it 330 yds ;)
CanineSupervisor:If you want, you can tee off using a putter
*giggles*
I did it once, when I had left my bag behind and taken two clubs to putt on one hole and drive from the next tee in reverse direction. Fellow players jokingly asked me, "Do you intend to use the putter from the tee?", and I thought about playing a putter bogey on that short Par 4 of 245 m (270 yds?). The tee putt went some 100+ m to the fairway, and after a lay-up, the third might have reached the green. Alas, I shanked the second to the right, behind a lake, and the dream was over. Big fun though!
