Hello WGT. I understand that you guys put a lot of time and effort into making this game as good as possible. I respect that. As long as you guys are making an effort, we're happy.

A couple of thoughts pop into my head occasionally. "Is WGT actually seeing this?", "How do I know if they are?", and so on.

I think you guys should add some more forum moderators that way we could have a lot more support. The engineers and other employees don't have much time moderating the forums like they should. The only time I see them active is when they are locking a thread or deleting posts.

WGT customers want to hear what you have to say when they introduce a new idea or come across a problem. When WGT employees don't respond, we feel that you are simply ignoring us. I believe you guys when you say you read the forums everyday. I read them as well.

Let us know that you are hearing our ideas by responding to our posts. That let's us know that you all care and aren't in it just for the money.

Add some more moderators. This will relieve stress on some of the current WGT employees, and it will increase the amount of customer satisfaction. There are many players on here that are always willing to help out with some of the newer players. There are some that can provide support with some of the technical difficulties we face daily. There are some that are willing provide alternate ways to overcome a problem or improve your game.

Let me know what you think WGT!

how about not hiring more moderators (there's already about 5 or 6 mods) and hiring more engineers instead to iron out bugs in the game quicker.

i care more about playing the game than i do reading forums :)

bugs cost lost balls & balls cost money.....threads cost zilch.

If WGT were to update the forums a little, the need for adding more moderators could be limited to adding one communicator or none.

For example, add a section entitled "Reporting Issues & Bugs". Make it a section within itself. Within that have a separate thread with the link for reporting each of the most common issues that come up. Upon opening that section threads would include "Report meter problems", "Report Sandbaggers & Multi-accounters", "Report Mapping Errors", "Report Other Issues", etc. Lock those at the top of the section, similar to what is currently at the top of the Bug Log and remove the reply button from them. Each would contain a brief description of the information WGT needs on the report and a link to the correct WGT email address for that issue. Any thread in any other area that can be directly solved by one of these reports could then be replied to by a moderator along with a link to the reporting thread. Then lock it if need be.

I would change the title of the "Bug Log" to "Bug Discussions". That gives other members the opportunity to help each other with problems. It would stop OPs from thinking they are reporting issues by just posting their problem on the forum.

There are other things that can be done as well. A moderator who can link duplicate issue threads to each other, then lock replies in the extra threads will lead the discussion to one area and make tracking and responding to it much easier.

Many other customer service items can be resolved with a common sense approach to them.

Members could moderate (as they do in other sites) posts not appropriate...i/e flame wars...swearing and so on..and move thread to the correct topic forums.

Might take some load off WGT and allow them to just deal with game problems.

How true, MB. The types of things I was mentioning could just as well be done by a member/moderator.

To prevent any appearance of impropriety, though, that moderator would have to be someone willing to forego playing for credits. I wouldn't have a problem with it but many on this site would.
