    DylynJ:

You're talking about censorship... but you don't realize it. I'm sure every WGT yes man with umpteen thousand plus posts would love to be the head man; that's EXACTLY why they shouldn't!

Last thing we need are WGT blowhards further limiting our freedom of speech.

No...and if you would reread what I wrote...take a bit to absorb it...you would understand.

My view...is a member could shut down, delete etc...rude, inane replies...ergo, Icon et al would be free to assist members with real game issues. instead of weeding through dung

    I/e

Player A...My wedge went 40 yard into no wind

Player B..You dumb XXXXX figure it out

here starts a flame wars...and a player/moderator could delete player B's reply...as it i's not needed...and Icon, etc can offer sound advice.

Icon plays under a different name. He doesn't play for credits, but he does play the game. He's pretty good at it also.

Yes m8.... I know Icon's better half (in wgt land) .. one of the Elite( in my eyes anyway...lol).  I don't mention the profile name though :)

It not so much censorship,  but eliminating repeating posts that say the same thing.

Keep the posts for three months (per ce) but eliminate them overtime.  You are not prohibiting them from expressing themselves in the forums.   But,  consolidate the threads into useful blogs that everyone who is looking for information will find useful.  That is a huge undertaking, since there must be a huge number of threads that have been archived.

    Just saying.

I agree too....  One example  is the 'Putting Tips'  over there --->

I couldn't put for peanuts when i first started, read this post, read it again... and re-read it...lol...   and I was on my way to glory... well sought of...lol.

Anyway.... they should delete some of the replies on that post and just have the main substance as a Template for everybody to look at.

I agree with this Infinito3010. The thing is WGT cannot delete players' posts without there being a legitimate reason to. This includes fighting, harrasment, or breaking some rule in the T & C.

The reason they can't do this is because it is one of their rules that apply to themselves in the T & C.

I think WGT should change some of the rules for themselves that way things can be straightened up a little.

While it is true that the invention of the forum experiment took place in Rome a couple of thousand years ago, it has survived but yet bumped into America where a thing called Freedom of Speech was invented in our Bill of Rights.

You're claiming that Americans invented freedom of speech?

It was the English who started it and it moved to the colonies, etc.
