With all the recent issues people are having with flash, meter problems..etc please say what browser works best for you and any things a person would need to know about the browser or tweeks to make their experience better. I saw a few different people say Maxthon. Say you use Maxthon. Is it a purely download and use or are there special things to block, enable..etc to optimize.

I have personally used chrome for my 14 months of play. I also use advanced system care with game booster. In the past it has been pure as silk but recently I have been getting occasional hiccups.

Thanks...looking forward to other options potentially.

Comodo Dragon for me. Here's the key (and a lot of people ignore this, unfortunately.) Use the browser for the game, the whole game and nothing but the game, so help you God. ;-)

When you get the browser (and it's a Chrome product) you immediately set the home page to the game client. Get the AdBlock extension and have it on. Allow cookies for WGT.com. Disable automatic updates. Uncheck the boxes for clearing stuff on exit. Drag the CD icon into your quick launch bar. Close the browser.

Now, every time you click that icon you will be taken directly to the game. No passing Go, opening the WGT home page, no tool bars, no PMs, no ads, no nothing, just the game. I've read all about the stuff Chrome users have been through with all this Flash business and my game setup hasn't flinched. Swear by it.  :-)

This is exactly what I see on my lap top screen after hitting the F11 key to go full screen (not the lame in game zoom.)

I decided to give Comodo a try. I did everything you said and was having a great time with it for 2 holes. I wasn't even aware of full screen mode and was loving it.

Then all of a sudden I could not putt. I try to hit the button and the meter just keeps on going. This same issue happened on Chrome before too. Here is the only flash I see listed

I switched to chrome and the same thing happened. I had to disable Comodo's flash to get the game to work right on Chrome.

One of the things CD does for security is use their own servers. They caused problems for me and I eliminated them. This article explains how.

Having issues with chrome again. I can't get the meter to stop at all. It will not hit the ball. These are my parameters. Should I uninstall 11.4 and try 10?
