It happens more often than not,
I join a single player in the lobby waiting for more players,
then all of a sudden he hits "tee off" without asking me,
and now when our round completion is ranked, it means you're stuck
in a round with 1 player, even though you wanted 2 or 3 more players.
I don't think we need yet another timer.

    1) There is a timer for ev1 entering a lobby. Use it to say good bye or talk to the invitee.

    2) If you want to control the game, start your own. If not on the driver's seat, accept his actions or leave at your own risk.

I don't think a 10 or 15 or even 5 second notice that the "Tee off" button was hit,
is such a major change, yet it would help out in a lot of cases.

    suppose you've joined a round,
and a player that you blocked has joined.
and suppose the host has hit the tee off button,
before you have a chance to leave the lobby? then what?
why should we be "surprised", I honestly can't see any downsides
to a 10 second "heads up" timer. it would only help form mp groups
that much better, because people will hang around without worrying
about being teed off before they're ready for it.

This could be easily implemented into the software by way of Game Setup.

You would chose when setting up the game, how many players you want.

You can either filter your search for games with X amount of players then

Or yu will see once in the lobby : eg; "2 of 4 players have joined'

that's true, but my suggestion solves other issues,
such as joining a group of low %'s or blocked players you don't like,
and failing to leave the lobby before host hits the tee off button.

what it is simply is a 10 second grace period,
which will notify us that tee off was clicked, and the game is about to start.
this will give us a small window for cancelling/backing out for ANY reason,
and not just these 2 examples I brought.

An interesting suggestion. I will make sure the higher ups at WGT see this. As always, a stellar contribution from gmaster007  :)

It was acknowledged by Chad in the chat today. He said he'd mention it to the (something) Manager.
