Many golf clubs are struggling financially around the world and this game would help them market their course and they would probably jump through hoops to get the exposure WGT could offer. I personally do not care which continent the course is on as long as we get a new course(s).

    + 1

Even if it was an ice course from Antarctica, I'll still play on it from the comfort of my living room.

Everyone is missing the fact it takes 6 months to do all the necessary work to add a course to the game.

And it costs something like 1/4 million dollars to produce one.

should be easy then.......just use the money saved from Royal Lytham.

wgt players spend on this site > wgt purse > new hd golf courses > WGT MLB

    apparently so.

i wonder if we'll  still get that TruGolf course this year...or is that another expendable.

Also, it is kinda ironic that that the OP has only been on this site 4 months & his first post is for new courses........

There are 7 specific WGT courses, 2 varied courses BFH & BHH & 2 Tru Golf.  Each course has 4 modes of play & a no. of ways to vary the conditions on each course....did I forget to mention the CTTH tracks & Blitz........etc.....

How many on this site can say they regularly play Olympic & put in low scores?....it is a great course & always is a challenge no matter how often it's played.....

just saying.........happy hitting & mind the trees.......

    EXACTLY!!!

It is a great marketing ploy... you'd think courses and golf clubs would be standing up saying pick me pick me!

We all know how expensive it is and the extensive amount of time it takes to add a new course. Given that I am quite sure they have a business model and plan that includes a certain number of courses a year. Now that we have my business side out there I am going to put on my consumer hat.  1 Course a year is not enough. Sorry, having been here well over 2 years now the current courses are a bit old. I still love playing here, probably more than when I started.

The structure of the tournaments and such are still basically the same. They do a great job offering up new things all the time but the prospect of new courses is the draw. I am the last person to bash wgt but after RL dropped off they should have gone after another course preferably a European course.

What was RL - before my time here? Royal Liverpool? How do WGT manage to lose a course?

Edit: Oh, Lytham. Someone mentioned it above...
