Let me please add the following : while some of you shrug off with a sneer my utter discontent as regards the new in-game credits display, arguing that it's a mere detail not worth getting upset about, I assert that true greatness comes precisely from an attention to detail and a willingness to pursue the utmost excellence. As soon as you tolerate even the smallest amount of mediocrity, you lapse complacently into a mentality of slapdash work that leaves a lot to be desired.
Now, it so happens that the new in-game credits display is graphically mediocre or plain unsightly (a matter of proportions in a confined -- now crowded and awkward looking -- space), and for an otherwise stunningly beautiful video game, that is truly unfortunate.
Furthermore, I contend that no one buys credits while playing a game, since you cannot upgrade your equipment during that time. It is then virtually pointless. But it is also in my perception a form of marketing harassment to encourage players to buy credits. Do you want that constantly in your face while playing a game? NOT ME!
Finally, after looking more closely at the tee following a drive, it seems to me that it is not broken, but merely yanked out of the ground by the sheer force of the strike. Doesn't that happen in real golf?
