    No, no, no!

Why do people keep coming up with ways of helping WGT take money from us? This happened in one of the previous threads on this subject as well. Nobody in their right minds would do this in any other walk of life, so why do it here?

Let them do their own dirty work guys.

YJ- Selling them in the pro shop would be an option. For it to be a viable one that sells over the long run the pricing would have to be much lower, similar to the Putter Pal. Maybe in the neighborhood of 100 Mulligans for 100 credits. Credits are already too expensive to come by for many people around the world. To use this option is already going to quietly raise the amount of money being spent on golf balls. And, like the Putter Pal, there will still be a way to accomplish what this does for free. It must be priced to make it worth the price to the customer. WGT would obviously have to do some number crunching if they decided to market them through the pro shop.

I would very much prefer that they don't sell them since they are for solo practice rounds anyway. The price of golf balls is enough of a cost for the feature in my mind.

Another excellent use for unlimited Mulligans just occurred to me. Anyone contemplating a certain club or club set would be able to rent the clubs and give them a better test run than is currently available. Strike all the clubs in a set from the tee or fairway and decide whether or not to purchase them. Try different clubs from the rough at the same time and compare. Might improve club sales.

hi all, i think 10/100 is too much, it would backfire cause people wouldnt use it nearly as often. It should be 1/1cr or 1/2cr, at this price members would burn thru mulligans, allowing us the practice and them the revenue. At this price, i think you would have members purchasing mulligans for practice almost daily and that would really add up if they did the math. Plus, they would create revenue on the wear and tear of ball life as we were doing all that practicing.  take care, pete

charge for a "Mulligan" option ?? pfft .. are u friggin' kiddin' me ??

wear on balls is bad enough as it is .. the fact that this feature will be used extensively will already result in elevated ball sales .. balls are hilariously overpriced already .. a huge bump on ball sales due to extra wear should be damn well enough ..

Whole-heartedly endorse this view which Chris put forward much more eloquently than me.
Can we get back to the real issue now, please? Are we gettng mulligans in practice round or not?

...The biggest impact would be with lower tiers and those who approach this game seriously, just the same as in real life . Those people would learn the game and improve quicker resulting in a better overall WGT experience.

As a newer player, I like and support this thinking. I'd like the option of being able to practice how to better, or properly, get out of bunkers, without having to wait for the day when I actually do drop into a bunker (which I try to avoid) and only have the rare chance to figure it out. And I feel that it would be good to have a relaxed opportunity to practice how to effectively chip, pitch, flop, etc. as well.

For me, in regards to bunkers, if not also for the other situations, it's like what thebigeasy707 said in another thread ("Change this game to be realistic"):

    thebigeasy707:
It's all about practise. I know people sigh when they hear that...but there it is.

In the long run.....when you've learned the important parts of the game and have a feel of the courses & conditions....when the game hits you with a VEM, you'll have the ideal shot to counteract it and won't really be too big a deal.

I found that to be sound advice that has helped me look at the game, and VEM in that case, with a different perspective. With that in mind, this kind of practice would definitely make my WGT experience more enjoyable as srellim234 pointed out.

    Cheers!

A suggestion was made. It was then explained to me. I then explained it to WGT. The end :)

Did we at least get an "I'll think about it?" from your superiors?  Or, was it completely poo-poo'ed?

And yes, YJ, Syracuse made part of me very happy.  But, the other part of me (the one married to a Mizzou alum) just puts that avatar up to joke around.  My hatred doesn't run too terribly deep......not as much as it should being a KU alum and all.  But, that may all change.......I watched my first bball game last night......my season has begun!

Chip, quite a few, including myself, asked for this during the Twitch session with Chad .. Pizza replied to my question that they might have this on the roadmap goin' forward, but that it was still considered very new and being discussed ..
