  This too is just my opinion and personally i dont care if they do or they dont bring in handicaps i will enjoy the game regardless, what i dont like is this "i dont want it so it should nt happen" attitude, there are other paying customers on here other than you who are also entitled to their say without been called whiners or crying because its not a level playing field.

  Pardon me, Geordieles, please point out where I said that there were whiners and/or criers?  

  I have stated my opinion on the matter and moved on.  I really don't see why you would take offense at that, considering you have done the same.

  But I'm not going to whine and cry about not having a 'fair chance

  This insinuates people are whiners and criers for writing in asking for a fair chance.

  Having read all the posts there is some confusion about handicaps.

  For those that have belonged to real Country Clubs or those that have handicapped real tourneys for friends etc.  they will understand the following.

  A handicap is not an average...it is what you could possibly shoot on YOUR BEST DAYS.

  That is why even with handicaps the lower handicap player still has a better chance of winning.

  Why?...because he has played more and learned the game through countless rounds and therefore generally shoots at or near his handicap.

  Both Tournament styles (which can even be in the same tourney -low gross -low net) should be availble on this site and will be eventually...what's the problem?
